A leading housing developer are looking to procure an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Exeter. Working across the entire South West region, my client are renowned for the high quality houses they produce as well as interior design. They build a mixture of traditional build and timber frame, from 1 bed apartments to 6 bed houses.
With an annual target of 650 units per year, with growth plans of 700 units by the end of 2017, they are looking to take on an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to help support the Commercial team. You will be supporting one of the Senior Quantity Surveyors, working on 2-3 projects concurrently.
Your main duties will include:
- Ensuring commercial processes are followed and any contractual obligations are met
- Preparing CVR's including full review of risks and opportunities
- Ensuring best value is achieved during sub contract procurement
- Maintaining sub contractor relations
- Working on costings and valuations
The successful candidate will ideally be qualified to an HNC level or above. You will have housing developer knowledge and experience, as well as experience working within the surveyor role.
