Our company client is a well respected insurance business who are actively seeking to appoint a driven and innovative Business Insight Analyst to join their fast growing Ops Change team based in Surrey. The successful applicant will be involved in present and producing the programmes MI and wider COO dashboard. This is an excellent opportunity for career development.
Essential job duties:
* Produce and maintain key reports and dashboards.
* Create high level summaries of large reports for the COO and his team to help make better priorities with, as directed by the Business Insight Manager.
* Medium level stakeholder management will be an integral part of this role.
* Responsible for the production of Business Insight input
* Develop and manage insights that support and direct the business strategy, such as risk modelling, demand modelling, loss ratio projections and lifetime value estimation
Main skills and experience required:
* A high level of accuracy, analysis and presentation is essential.
* Relevant degree with substantial mathematical/statistical content, perhaps supported by an MSc or equivalent.
* Proven track record in an analysis role with large volumes of data records, more than 1 million records.
* Advanced Excel skills, e.g. pivot tables and complex formulae. SAS language would be an advantage but not essential, as would proven experience of applying multivariate statistical techniques (e.g. Regression (GLMs), Clustering, CHAID) to business problems.
* Well organised and logical approach
