One of the world's leading manufacturers of food products is currently looking to recruit a number of Production Operatives at their Somercotes plant near Alfreton, Derbyshire. The role will be on a continental shift pattern, 24/7, days and nights.

The Role
You would play an important role as part of the fast-paced bakery facility at the Somercotes site. You would be tasked with ensuring that all production processes and activities are set and run in a manner which maximises efficiency, actively supporting quality and continuous improvement programmes, whilst ensuring all health and safety guidelines and regulations are consistently adhered to.

The Candidate
The ideal candidate must have experience working within a busy manufacturing / production environment and will be able to demonstrate a keen approach to process improvement and reducing waste. A basic understanding of food hygiene requirements would also be preferred, as would a forklift truck/reach truck/counter balance licence. You will possess excellent motivational and team working skills combined with an enthusiasm for solving problems and taking on new challenges.
