The Keele Clinical Trials Unit (CTU) is based in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. As part of the CTU team, and working in collaboration with nominated research groups, you will assist in the co-ordination of clinical studies undertaken within the Keele CTU, a UKCRC registered CTU. Keele CTU has a strong track record in developing innovative approaches to research data collection and maintaining successful recruitment and retention to the portfolio of studies.

To provide a management role in the Keele CTU and to provide a strong operational management and co-ordination to study development and delivery within the CTU. Through team leadership and trial management expertise, to support the CTU Director and Deputy Director: Operations, Chief and Principal Investigators, and the Project Management Team to ensure the development and delivery of effective research support and infrastructure for clinical research studies supported by the CTU.

You will be educated to Degree level (or equivalent) in a health related subject, possess demonstrable organisational skills and attention to detail with the ability to anticipate, identify, avoid and resolve problems critical to the running of complex clinical studies.  You will also possess substantial experience of managing clinical health research projects including Clinical Trials of Investigational Medicinal Products (CTIMPs), from set-up through gaining regulatory approvals to the execution of participant-based data-collection in health-care setting(s).
