Our client is a facilities management company specialising in the provision of managing agent services within high volume retail environments.
This is a temporary position and the Quotes Agent role sits within the Service Transformation team, which aims to be recognised as a centre of excellence by providing strong policies and delivering high quality operational specialist support.The role involves dealing with specific supplier procurement activities which are aligned with the needs of the business and its client base and which ensures excellent performance is delivered at every stage of the process.
The Quotes Agent will report to the Senior Quotes Agent.
General Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the day-to-day Quotes work for the Facilities Management of the Client Corporate Offices, Stores, Distribution Centres and Supermarkets
- Responsibility to communicate efficiently and honestly while listening with an open mind
- Liaising with other departments within the business, especially the finance and customer service departments
- Adherence to s Health & Safety and Environmental policies.
- Specific Responsibilities
- Interpreting quotes received into the business
- Liaising with customer and supplier via telephone and E-Mail to resolve queries
- Raise and authorise quotes
- Constant expedition of due quotation to ensure that they are on schedule
- Action invoice queries
- Any other duties as requested by the Senior Quotes Agent or Operations Director
- Financial awareness of the company
- Customer focus and understanding
- Duty of care, including safety, security, environmental and health
