Job title: Civil Engineering Technician
Location: Colchester
Pay rate: Negotiable based on experience
As the selected Civil Engineer Technician you will work on building projects and be responsible for delivering high quality infrastructure design, so a strong background in civil engineering is essential. You will be responsible for liaising with clients, local authorities and representatives from external organisations.
The organisation we are recruiting for is a market leader in providing civil and structural engineering consultancy, design and feasibility services for major developers and contractors across the UK. Our client prides themselves on tailoring each of their projects to the client's construction and procurement programmes and ensuring excellent communication throughout the entire project.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience in a similar position and relevant qualification
- Proven experience working in drainage design
- Strong practical knowledge of relevant design software such as AutoCAD and PDS
- HNC/HND minimum qualification
- Good working knowledge of relevant design standards and legislation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
