We are seeking a Civil Design Engineer to join our prestigious client on a permanent basis. As the selected Civil Design Engineer you will provide support on roadworks, drainage and external works designs projects. You will be responsible for using AutoCAD to produce detailed design drawings for regulatory approval and construction. Due to an expanding workload they are now seeking to grow their team in Colchester with a Civil Design Engineer.
Our client provides civil and structural engineering consultancy, design and feasibility services for major contractors and developers throughout the UK and internationally. Our client has built a reputation for tailoring each of their projects to the client's construction and procurement programmes and ensuring excellent communication with all stakeholders throughout the entire project.
Essential Requirements:
- Significant experience in a similar position and relevant qualification
- Strong technical skills
- Proficient use of AutoCAD and other design software packages such as DDS & Micro-Drainage
- Proven ability to work as a member of a team and individually with little supervision
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building and maintaining effective working relationships
