The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate general arrangement and detailed drawings that are fully compliant with the project brief, relevant legislation and regulations. You will liaise with clients and customers in order to fully understand their briefs, operating procedures and systems.

Our client is an engineering consultancy providing civil/structural design and feasibility services for major developers and contractors across the UK. Our client has built a large portfolio through tailoring each of their projects to the client's construction and procurement programmes and ensuring excellent communication with all parties throughout the entire project.

Candidate Requirements:

- Minimum of 2 year post graduate experience in a similar position and relevant qualification
- Experience working on multi storey reinforced concrete structures is desirable
- Proven experience using CSC Orion finite element analysis program is desirable
- Experience working with different materials such as steelwork and masonry timber
- Good knowledge of relevant legislation, procedures and Eurocodes including how to work to them
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for liaising with clients, contractors and other members of the design team
- Good organisation skills that are essential for working to tight deadlinesThe ideal Structural Design Engineer will have relevant experience in order to advise and assist with a range of projects.
