Role: Maintenance Manager
Location: Manchester
Salary: GBP35,000-GBP40,000 +Benefits
Start Date: ASAP
The Role:
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the role of Engineering Group Leader will be responsible for planning, coordinating and controlling maintenance and engineering activities throughout manufacturing to ensure asset performance, reliability and quality is guaranteed and improved.
The successful candidate will lead a team of engineering personnel and indirectly the maintenance activities of operators in the delivery of world class asset care with the highest standards of safety.
Key elements include;
- Strong leadership essential, with excellent coaching skills.
- Undertake 1:2:1's with team members to identify training needs and develop behaviours.
- Coordinate and undertake equipment risk assessments and SOP's.
- Deputise for the maintenance manager out of hours to ensure planned and unplanned activities are conducted safely.
- Ensure statutory maintenance work orders are completed on time and feedback in CMMS.
- Manages and coordinates contractor activities through PTW's.
The Person:
As Engineering Group Leader you will be a time served with a HNC/HND in mechanical or electrical engineering. You will have a formal Health & Safety qualification and knowledge of continuous improvement.
Candidates must also be able to demonstrate strong organisation & supervisory experience as well as clear communication skills.
