Superb opportunity exists for a Microbiologist to join a leading manufacturer based in Ashford.
This is a supervisory role within a Microbiology Laboratory which will require overseeing personnel and the operation of the facility. All work will be conducted to the company's specifications that will meet statutory, regulatory and customer requirements.
Main responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Oversee the daily functions of the Laboratory,
- To ensure company policies are complied with,
- To provide training and mentoring to Microbiologists as required,
- To assists with laboratory audits,
- Data capture responsibilities,
- Compiling and writing reports; AND
- Carrying out other reasonable duties as required.
The successful candidate will have 5 years experience in a Microbiological Laboratory and will be enthusiastic in all aspects of work. You will also need experience in Microbiological identification and competent using aseptic techniques.
