Tonic have been tasked with sourcing a Senior Sous Chef for our clients large events and conference centre in Telford. Our client specialises in quality, fresh food, the successful candidate will have experience with cooking for big numbers using fresh ingredients.
We are looking for a calm, influential and energetic chef to help to lead the brigade in a highly demanding and evolving environment. The successful Sous Chef will demonstrate a genuine passion and desire to exceed expectations, they will deliver modern, on trend and seasonal food, sticking to the very highest working standards.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all menu planning and tastings, food costing and staff organisation including training. You must be forward thinking, highly organised and able to manage multiple offerings over the site, and deliver last minute catering requests and changes. The ideal Sous Chef must have a proven background in all areas stated.
This is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7. Any hours worked over 40 are given back in lieu. Free meals provided daily, plus company benefits - 20 days holiday plus 8 and holidays, pension and free use of leisure facilities after 6 months employment.
