Marketing Officer with excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to deliver multiple direct marketing campaigns is required by a leading Charity based in Reading, Berkshire.

 

SALARY: £26,500 - £28,100 pro rata per annum

DOGS: Due to the nature of the organisation there are frequently dogs on site. Therefore you must be comfortable with dogs in the workplace.

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS: Candidates will need previous experience managing multiple direct marketing campaigns / projects simultaneously across a variety of channels. Previous charity / fundraising experience would be highly desirable.

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Marketing Officer that has excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to deliver multiple direct marketing campaigns.

Working as the Marketing Officer you will join an established team and will play a pivotal in managing the overall delivery of multiple direct campaigns and retention activity, delivering these projects on time, to budget and maximising response and return on investment.

As the Marketing Officer you will also be responsible for writing briefs for creative, data, response handling and supporter care teams.

Your duties as the Marketing Officer will also involve managing non-campaign specific projects as and when required, to time and on budget.

DUTIES

Your duties and responsibilities include:

  • Manage the overall delivery of direct campaigns and retention activity
  • Write briefs for creative, data, response handling and supporter care teams
  • Deliver projects on time, to budget, maximising response and value
  • Manage non-campaign specific projects
  • Input into strategic direction of campaigns and supporter retention plans
  • Undertake post campaign analysis, producing wrap-up reports
  • Manage suppliers to ensure quality work is delivered within the defined schedule and at a competitive cost
  • Work with the Online Digital Team to ensure product specific content is regularly updated

 

IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous direct marketing / campaign management experience, delivering across a variety of channels and multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Microsoft Office, specifically MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Previous charity / fundraising experience would be highly desirable
  • Knowledge of PCI, Data Protection Act, Gambling Act 2005, Charity Commission and Institute of Fundraising Good Practice would be highly desirable
  • Whilst this role is based in Reading, Berkshire, it also requires regular travel with occasional overnight stays
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
