Care Assistants

This is an opportunity to join a local, independent, care agency for elderly self-funding customers looking to continue to live at home for as long as they want in Maidenhead. They have an excellent record with their staff, their customers and the CQC for doing things properly and they are currently looking for applicants as Care Assistants. The role requires visiting customers in their own homes, providing assistance and support with a variety of tasks from personal care, companionship, meal preparations and domestic tasks.

They offer competitive, leading wage rates and have full-time care assistants (35 hrs/wk) earning £20,000+ p.a. on an hourly rate of £9.30 (£10.42 at the weekend). They pay travel time at £7.20/hr plus a 4% monthly attendance bonus and pension. They also pay mileage expenses paid at 30p/mile. They provide a mobile phone and a uniform for work. After 6 months they will pay an additional monthly loyalty bonus.

They are flexible about work patterns and have carers working a variety of shift patterns 8:00am to 2pm and 4pm to 10pm as well as full time workers engaged in a mix of shifts as to suit their personal availability. All their customers are based in Maidenhead. They offer guaranteed minimum hours contracts plus overtime.
