Position: Claims Adjuster - Marine & Energy

Our company client is a highly regarded Syndicate organisation who are currently looking to recruit a driven and tenacious Claims Adjuster to join their Marine & Energy team of a full-time basis. The successful applicant will be accountable for managing a portfolio of worldwide M&E claims and ensuring they are settled in a cost-effective and timely manner, whilst also providing support to more junior adjusters. This is an outstanding opportunity to achieve a highly lucrative and rewarding career.
Main duties for this job will involve:
* Responsible for handling a portfolio of worldwide marine and energy claims through to settlement
* Monitor and improve claims processes ensuring feedback is communicated to senior management
* Build and enhance relationships with Underwriters, Brokers and Legal Professionals
* Ensure claims MI and reporting requirements are met
* Ensure all compliance and regulatory guidelines are adhered to and ensure all emerging risks are reported
* Respond to wider business needs and complete ad-hoc duties where required
Experience and skill set required:
* 5+ year's experience managing and settling M&E claims across a worldwide remit
* Ability to manage and develop key relationships with Underwriters, Brokers and Third Parties
* Strong knowledge of the Lloyd's insurance market
* Strong understanding of regulatory controls within insurance claims
* Ability to use Lloyd's ECF system
* ACII / CII highly preferred
