Business Manager

Our client works in the field of Software Services to support and improve business functions for their clients. This is a full time permanent position working Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm on a salary of ??24,000 - ??29,500pa DOE. Our client provide modern and up to date software services that can transform the way a business operates. Including areas in finance, accounts, warehouse management and other general business functions. This opportunity will provide you with a new challenge and the change of career you may be seeking. They will provide you will a full years training and development so you become an expert in this field. You will then be a trusted advisor to clients around the UK. You will meet with clients, analyse their business needs and then advise on how the software products can be utilised with best effect. The role will involve going on site to analyse client requirements a few times a month, writing up proposals and then installing and training the client on the use of the product. You will also often analyse how it can be improved for the client, look into problems they are having, or maybe even realise them before the client does. To be successful you will need commercial awareness and ideally have a background in one of these four areas: Project Management, Customer Services Management, Operations Management and Warehouse Management You will also be able to provide pre and post sales support and training to clients and colleagues of company software by telephone, email, conference calls and face to face meetings. The role will require you to work away and occasionally stay overnight therefore you must be a driver and happy to stay away on occasions. This can be three nights in a row when a new client goes live, but that isn't often. You do not need to be within IT or have any IT qualification, this is not a technical role at all. Our client is seeking someone with a commercial background and someone who understands how a business operates, can appreciate difficulties a company may be having and come up with a solution. You will have a methodical mind, IT literate, have an enthusiastic personality and seeking a new challenge. Full training will be given on the company products and services.
