A Bath based finance company in is looking for an Account Manager to join their team. The purpose of the role is to account manage a portfolio of adviser firms. The position requires proactive account management, the ability to build strong business relationships and to professionally represent the company. The Account Manager will retain existing business and generate additional revenue through up-sales and expansions of the company's products and services, whilst providing excellent and personalised customer service Position Responsibilities: Developing and managing relationships with financial adviser firms for your assigned regionsDeveloping and implementing account management plans for a number of key adviser firms and taking ownership of those relationshipsIdentifying potential or significant relationship issues and providing support and ensuring that remedial action plans are put in place to resolve.Building and maintaining internal networks and relationships across the companyDevelopment of strong relationships to understand where value can be added.Actively supporting and participating in the Account Management team to achieve team objectives.Raising and owning escalations to completion, reporting on any trends and identifying training, system or process improvements. Skills & Knowledge Required: Previous experience in an account management roles is essential.Experience of selling products and services to an existing client base would be beneficial.Proven track record in developing and seeking out new business opportunities.A sound knowledge of the issues and challenges facing the Financial Services sectorA passion for identifying, developing and executing new ideasA strong team player, who is comfortable working closely with other members in the team, but is also willing and able to work autonomously and establish their own priorities and objectivesComfortable working with other departments, bringing together people from different areas of the business.
