SENIOR STAFF NURSE (RGN) - ACUTE HOME CARE - GLOUCESTERSHIRE / SOMERSET - FULL-TIME - PERMANENT - ??25,000 - ??36,000
Medicor are pleased to receive applications for the position of Senior Staff Nurse providing acute home nurse care to patients in their homes in the Bristol area.
In order to be considered for this position, you will need to be a NMC Registered Nurse - Adult (RGN) with significant post-registration experience. You will have experience of acute hospital care in either an acute medical ward setting, ITU or A&E setting. You will also need to be able to drive and have your own car.
The position is for a new service in the Bristol area, providing Acute Home Care services to patients following early discharge from hospital. The company uses telemetrics and regular visits to support patients discharge from the ward to provide similar level of care to patients in their home setting. As a nurse, you will be provided with a tablet and phone, as well as your own kit bag to do your role. Based out of the trust office, you will be assigned your patient's at the start of your shift and provide the required care in the required timescales. This is a service that has been launched and is proving very successful.
This is a full-time permanent position working 37.5 hour per week. We can however consider applications for part-time persons also.
Salary for the position is between ??25,000 and ??36,000 and will be dependent on experience and your current salary. On top of this is a generous mileage rate (paid per mile) and all job related expenses paid for.
