Warehouse Supervisor / Warehouse Team Leader / Forklift Driver

Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor (nights)

Location: Feltham Heathrow

Salary: £25,092.00 per annum + night shift allowance of up to £350 per month

Hours: Night shift, 4 on 4 off rotating based on working between 19:00 - 07:00

Job Role:

The successful candidate will supervise and co-ordinate the warehouse operations staff to achieve operational excellence through effective staff management, quality management, work flow and inventory control, whilst ensuring all duties/functions are carried out in accordance to IMS guidelines.

• Lead and supervise the warehouse operations staff in day-to-day operations whilst maintaining administration duties as required.
• Provide guidance, conduct familiarization training and on-job-training for new staff on in-house systems and/or the working procedures to ensure that new staff learn and contribute effectively to the operation.
• Monitor the overtime consumption of direct reports and ensure there is no abuse and falsification of overtime and provide the accurate overtime submission to warehouse management administration.
• Respond to all inquiries and feedback from internal staff and provide responses in a fast and professional manner, and to ensure adherence to applicable procedures and performance standards.
• Perform system check periodically to ensure all receipts/dispatches including data transactions are updated accurately on a timely basis.
• Supervise customer specific receipts are carried out in an effective and efficient manner meeting the quality requirements of the customers.
• Monitor and ensure warehouse consumables including fuel (Gas/Diesel) are checked as per agreed guidelines, order in advance of depletion with warehouse management
• Meet deadlines for release/receipts as set by operational departments whilst maintaining HSE and IMS standard work practice.
• Investigate, resolve and report findings of all inventory/receipt/dispatch discrepancies and potential issues immediately to ensure satisfaction
• The Company reserves the right to vary or amend the duties and responsibilities of the post holder at any time according to the needs of the Company's business.
• Deliver individual and departmental KPI's

Decision Making Authority

• Daily task resource allocation including delegation.

• Approval levels as per Responsibilities and Authorities of the current SOP

The Candidate:

Function / Market & Industry Knowledge / Business Acumen / Process working

• Functional experience is essential
• Inventory Control Management
• Knowledge of the company's products and services
• Forklift License (relevant to operational requirement)
• DG Awareness
• ULD Build/Break experience
• Level F Aviation Security Training
• Clear and checkable 5 year employment and CRC (this is due to strict aviation security regulations)
