Job Details:

Our Client has an exciting opportunity for a Membership Engagement Executive based in Central London and is offering an attractive salary to the right candidate.

Main Duties:

Working with the Membership Manager and Head of Membership and Commercial Engagement in driving membership retention and recruitment and also to support the team with their activities.

Principal Accountabilities:

Member Engagement 
  • Maintain a list of membership prospects, provide background research on companies and make initial approaches when directed.
  • Work with the PA to the DG to develop a programme of prospective member senior team visits (DG, President, Leadership Team).
  • Arrange leadership team visits to key members and assist in regular catch up check ins to all members.
  • Assist with on boarding for professional affiliates and small manufacturing member companies.
  • Provide support to professional affiliates as their first point of contact.
  • Research member turnover, issue and process turnover requests and liaise with the finance to support the membership renewal process.
  • Arrange quarterly Membership Action Group meetings, book meeting rooms, issue agendas, take minutes and collate follow up action progress.
  • Update membership database account management information.

Membership EventS
 
  • Arrange quarterly Sales Director Forums, including issuing invitations, liaising with speakers and managing logistics.
  • Arrange events in partnership with professional affiliates such as roundtables, webinars and seminars as required.
  • Work with the PA to the DG to plan membership focussed events such as FDF regional dinners and New Business Forum events.
  • Provide support to the commercial team with events as required.
Working Relationships
  • Build effective working relationships with the offices of senior members.
  • Close liaison with the Membership Engagement Manager, Head of Membership and Commercial Engagement and the Commercial team to progress and promote the work of the Commercial and Membership teams.
  • Work with the Leadership Team and all staff to maintain a strong focus on member engagement.
  • Work with the Company’s finance team to support on the membership renewal process.
  • Work with colleagues in IT to ensure the database delivers the right information to support the business.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
  • Experience of working within a membership organisation and/or experience of working within the food and drink industry
  • Excellent inter-personal skills
  • Self-motivated / proactive thinker
  • Good time-management and organisational skills with an ability to prioritise tasks
  • Able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • Approachable with strong communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills in a business to business environment
  • Excellent accuracy and numeracy skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience of database management
  • Able to process information and disseminate accurately
  • Exposure to event management and marketing activities
  • Good research skills
