We are seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support a Year 4 class in a Bolton Primary school. This school is a 2 form entry Primary school and caters for children aged 4-11 with a separate nursery building onsite. The Senior Leadership team are dedicated to providing a safe and engaging learning environment where children can grow and flourish. The successful applicant will have the ability to foster positive relationships with all children and staff.

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds a Level 2 qualification or above and/or has experience of working with children in a school environment.
• Is calm, thoughtful and energetic.
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to use own initiative and be flexible.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering intervention to small groups of mixed ability children in Maths and English in accordance to the current National Curriculum.
• Assist with the daily preparation of learning activities.
• Communicating with the class teacher and parents to feedback on individual's performance.
• Adhering to school policies and procedures.
• Promoting equal opportunities.
