IT Support Analyst, Bradford

Here at Advanced Supply Chain we have an opportunity for an IT Support Analyst to join our Internal IT Department based at our Bradford site, with occasional travel to our Holmfield site. We offer a competitive salary and great benefits. Reporting to the Head of Infrastructure, this IT Support Analyst role will be a key position in our IT team.

We operate from 6 UK locations and supply our customers with end-to-end supply chain solutions including freight forwarding, contract logistics, value added services and UK distribution.

Key Tasks and Accountabilities of an IT Support Analyst include:

- Logging, updating and resolving calls in the helpdesk system including prioritizing and scheduling problems and where needed escalating problems (when required) to the appropriately experienced technician.

- Installing and maintaining of computers, printers, wireless barcode scanners, peripherals and network related equipment across multiple sites.

- Managing our asset management system constantly with updates on equipment locations and information.

- Troubleshooting of software and hardware problems such as Video Conferencing, Laptops, Desktops and Printers in order to provide an uninterrupted service to all users.

- Administering user accounts & mailboxes including the set up off all new starters, removal of all leavers and checking of any inactive accounts. The administration would also include the maintenance of the Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange.

- Contributing Documentation to knowledge base Provide continual improvement to Service delivery processes in part by generating and updating documentation within the document library, and ensuring documentation is consistent by adhering to document guidelines and templates.

- Assisting with 3rd line support and project roll outs.

- Dealing with 3rd party vendors and procurement of stock needed by departments as and when needed.

- Providing out of hours support by phone for all IT issues in the business

To become our IT Support Analyst you must have the following skills and experience:

- GSCE grades A-C in both English and Maths

- A good degree in an IT related subject (Preferred not essential)

- Any industry qualifications e.g. MCSA/MCSE advantageous

- Excellent experience and knowledge of Microsoft OS (Windows 10, 8, 7 and XP.)

- Excellent knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office 2010 / 2013

- Experience and knowledge of Windows Server (Preferred not essential)

- Avaya phone system management (Preferred not essential)

- Work on own initiative and as part of a team

- Excellent customer service skills

- An approachable manner

- Excellent communication skills

- Full driving licence and use of own car
