They currently have an opportunity available for a Retirement Living Coordinator to join them to provide effective and efficient housing and intensive housing management services to customers living in a sheltered scheme and category 1 housing; providing on-site management and supervision of the schemes with regards to maintenance, health and safety and cleanliness.
Responsible for general building maintenance and security and for developing the sheltered housing scheme as a community hub by organising and facilitating social activities, you will provide encouragement to customers to assist them to remain living independently in their own homes and ensure the health and safety of customers is maintained at all times.
With previous experience of working with older people in the housing or social care sector, working with statutory and voluntary service providers and organising and facilitating social activities, you must have good customer care skills and focus and an understanding of the needs of older people. A relevant professional qualification and specific experience of delivering customer service within the registered providing housing sector are desirable but not essential.
Due to the nature of the role you should have regular access to a vehicle and be able to travel to cover other schemes in the locality.
35 hours per week – working pattern Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4.00pm
Please note that an enhanced DBS clearance is required for this role.
