Administrative Assistant / Receptionist - Part-Time
Based in Newcastle
Salary circa £13,000 pro rata + Excellent Benefits
As one of the UK's leading independent profe5sional services companies we are currently looking to recruit an Administration Assistant on a part-time 30 hours per week basis at our Newcastle office. Your role would entail providing a high standard of administrative and support across the office, ensuring all tasks are performed efficiently and in a consistently accurate and timely manner.
Key tasks and responsibilities as follows:
o Processing filing for current clients ensuring each client file is kept up to date and stored effectively
o Photocopying, scanning, binding and filing documents as required
o Opening, logging and distributing post as well as franking outgoing post
o Assist the marketing team with the preparation for events
o Reception cover, answering calls in a professional and timely manner and dealing with visitors to the office
The ideal candidate for the role will have some experience in an office admin environment ideally including the management of a filing system but this is not a prerequisite. What is important is that you have excellent organisational skills, good attention to detail and high levels of accuracy alongside an ability to manage a varied workload and work efficiently and effectively under pressure and to deadline. You will also need to be capable of working on your own initiative in an unsupervised manner whilst remaining an integral part of a busy office.
With almost 3500 partners and staff across 35 offices generating a fee income of over £300 million, you would be joining one of the 3 principal mid-market accountancy firms at a particularly exciting time.
