Tauheedul Education Trust (TET) is a Mixed Multi-Academy Trust running a rapidly expanding network of Faith and Non-Faith Primary and Secondary schools in Lancashire, Greater Manchester, West Yorkshire, the West Midlands and London.

Educational excellence and social mobility are at our heart. Working particularly in areas of deprivation, the Trust has many years of experience of helping children and young people to raise their aspirations and achieve outstanding results:

Two of our schools ranked 1 and 3 in the 2016 national 'Progress 8' league tables which are based on how much a school improves a pupil's GCSE performance on average, taking into account prior attainment.
All of our new schools to have been inspected to date have been rated 'outstanding' by OFSTED.

To support this growth we are making substantial investment into our HR team. One of the roles we are looking to appoint is a Senior HR Manager.

This is a great opportunity for a dedicated and talented individual who would like the opportunity to take responsibility for Employee Relations and lead our HR Advisor Team across a highly successful, and rapidly expanding organisation on a national level. There will be scope to have significant impact and influence in the strategy and direction we take from the outset.

You will:

be a CIPD graduate or hold an equivalent formal HR qualification and educated to degree level
have extensive experience of providing complex generalist HR advice to Senior Leaders and working with Trade Union Representatives including projects such as HR change, TUPE and restructuring
be highly resilient and able to support schools to manage change and ER effectively through Academy conversion into TET
be capable of being a calm, supportive and reassuring leader for the HR Advisory team.
have in-depth expert knowledge of current HR legislation and developing HR systems and procedures

You will find an organisation that:

is passionate about its vision of 'Nurturing Today's Young People, Inspiring Tomorrow's Leaders'
has a supportive ethos and concern for the well-being of all members of our community
has high ambitions for all and provides excellent opportunities for professional development
is well-ordered with high standards of commitment

We are committed to diversity and would welcome applications from all sections of the community.

Please contact Faizal Musa on 0 if you would like an informal and confidential discussion regarding the role. Applicants must complete the Trust's application form. CVs will not be accepted for this post.

Closing date: Sunday 29-January-2017 Interviews are likely to be 20-February-2017
