Location: Birmingham
Salary: £18k-£28k + Bonus according to experience.
Our client owns a number of online sites. Due to the organic business growth in recent years, client is looking to recruit a 1st Line Technical Support to be based in Birmingham..
The Role & Responsibilities:
You will be involved in a variety of duties including:
Providing 1st line technical support for hardware and software issues
Assessing the complexity of an issue and dealing with it yourself, or escalating to a senior
Ensure all calls are logged into the helpdesk system and progress notes are added to all calls
Managing the timely resolution of open calls and call actions across all customers
Proactively managing problem calls through to completion in a timely basis
Proactively working to improve internal processes
Pro-actively identifying potential problems and issues on customer sites
Identification of potential opportunities to replace or implement new solutions
Key Skills and Experience
Very good English communication skills.
Great customer service skills.
1st, 2nd & 3rd line IT helpdesk support.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems with emphasis on Windows 7, 8, 10.
Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
Self-motivated, well organised.
Good IP networking skills.
Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve Windows system and software related issues.
Printer setup, management and driver configurations.
