Job Title: HGV2 LGV C Driver Requried - Ongoing/Temp to Perm.
Location: Tamworth
Pay rate: GBP9.50 PAYE (GBP11.50 LTD)
Shift: Mon- Fri: 08:00 Starts. Average 10 Hour Shift
The Benefits:
This is a genuine opportunity for a Permanent position for the right candidate with pay rates from GBP9.50 per hour (GBP11.50 LTD). Reliable and trustworthy drivers will become part of Encore Driving's approved driver scheme. As a result of this drivers will have the opportunity to earn free CPC training modules and the chance to up-skill their licence and become a more rounded candidate.
The Job:
In this position you are required to make deliveries of palletts to the client customers. You can expect to make up to 10 deliveries and 5 collections per run. There can be occasional handball in this position but most deliveries will be done via the use of a pallet truck. This is an on-going position with the potential for a permanent position for the correct candidate. Good communication is essential in order to be successful in this role. Any changes to your day or to your route must be communicated as soon as possible to ensure a efficient working day.
The Candidate:
Reliable, flexible and able to demonstrate excellent communication skills are a key attribute to this position. You will be able to keep calm under pressure, have good customer service skills and have an eye for detail. You will have full drivers CPC qualification. Minimum 24 months driving experience for insurance purposes and no more than 6 points for minor offences. You will have a good working knowledge of drivers hours legislation and an understanding of RT(WT)R.
