Job Purpose
This is an exciting opportunity to further develop our outreach and training service, extending our reach to families and professionals across London ensuring positive impact on many children, young people and adults who have an autism spectrum disorder.
Due to the growth and expansion of the organisation we are currently looking for an experienced SEN practitioner to take Outreach and Training to the next level.
The post holder will establish and develop a range of outreach services and expand our training offer to professionals and parents/carers.
BeyondAutism provides high quality, innovative and personally tailored education using ABA/VB for children, young people and adults with autism. Through Rainbow School we offer a structured programme of intensive intervention, applying the scientific principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and Verbal Behaviour (VB) to deliver the National Curriculum, teach functional communication and life skills, to enable our pupils to lead rewarding lives. We offer both primary and secondary provision and have capacity for 76 pupils aged 4 to 19 years.
Applicants must have a teaching/training qualification as a minimum, along with relevant skills, knowledge, experience and a desire to develop and grow a service. The successful applicant is likely to have experience as an SEN adviser in a local authority or service development project leads, but this is not a requirement. The role will give you the opportunity to develop and innovate a new service working to deliver our strategy by becoming the go-to service provider for outstanding ABA/VB provision, information, training and research.
