CMM Operator/CMM Quality Inspector required - Aerospace.
Due to rapid expansion and increase in business we now require a CMM Operator/CMM Quality Inspector to join the business.
With large orders and sustained growth we require a skilled CMM Operator to inspect machined parts working to tight aerospace tolerances.
With huge earning potential and a wealth of overtime we can offer a sustained working environment with true job security in one of the Midlands most prestigious aerospace businesses.
The company are looking for a driven individual who wants to work within a fast paced, busy environment and who has the desire to learn new skills and bring new ideas to the company. Working with the latest technology and equipment for this prestigious aerospace company.
Day Rate: GBP10-GBP13 per hour
Night Rate: GBP13-GBP17.50 per hour
Shifts available: Days and Nights rotating every 2 weeks, Days but must be flexible to cover Nights
Overtime rates: Time and 1/2
Background required: Must have previous CMM measuring experience ideally within a precision engineering environment.
The work environment: This is a fast paced machining environment, working to high tolerances. You will be working with first class manufacturing facilities and practices in a well organised structured working environment.
Progression/Training:
The company offer off site training courses to enable there staff to expand their knowledge and look to progress from within.
Opportunities within this large aerospace business.
The role:
- To carry out inspection using CMM of machined aerospace components
- Using various measuring tools
- Produce first article inspection reports and FAIR's
The CMM Quality Inspector will have as many of the below in order to strengthen application:
- Ability to measure and inspect detailed aerospace machined parts
- Must be able to interpret detailed engineering drawings - tested at interview
- Ability to use CMM
- Programming of CMM's
- Experienced in FAIRS and first article inspection reports
- AS 9100/AS 9120 aerospace quality inspection experience
- Inspection experience working in a machine shop environment
- Machining knowledge
- Knowledge of First article inspections and FAIRS
