Pre-Press QC - Packaging Graphics
LOCATION; Birmingham
SALARY; Negotiable depending on experience
Company: A leading global supplier of design-to-print brand development products and services with presence in North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific and Latin America.
Role:
* Check the digital artwork / proofs being produced will print and are completed to the brief supplied
* Feedback any errors to the production team
* Use the internal MIS system
* Monitor and record any QC errors
* Adhere to all internal processes in place for artwork and repro
Requirements:
* Experience of working on printing press i.e. litho, flexo and gravure
* Ability to use Adobe Creative Suite - Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, InDesign
* Experience producing printing plates
* Keen eye for detail
* Proven experience of a pre-press department or printing experience
* Understand technical aspects of reprographics i.e. checking trapping and separations
