Professional & Community Learning is looking for an enthusiastic and flexible person to join our team as an Hourly Paid Learning Assistant. The right candidates will join a vibrant working environment with excellent facilities.
We are looking for an Hourly Paid Learning Assistant to provide practical support for teaching and learning within the Professional & Community Learning courses.
The role includes assisting the teaching team in the delivery of their programmes in the classrooms, supervising and maintaining practical work areas to ensure a high quality student learning experience.
The successful candidate will be supporting range of community programmes, working with the job centre plus programme to upskill students preparing for work. As such you will need good inter-personal qualities, a dynamic character and strong IT skills.
Your hours will vary based on the timetables of courses across the year so this role will suit someone who is able to commit to part time working and can be flexible. You will be required to work across the Watford and Dacorum Campus's and the community venues.
This is a fixed term position initially until 14 July 2017, the end of this academic year, but the end date will be reviewed annually in line with course enrolments and demand for the courses from our local communities.
