Electronic Product Test Engineer
Durham-Commutable from Darlington, Newton Ayclife, Stockton on Tees, Bishop Auckland, Durham, Middlesbrough
GBP25-30K plus overtime, pension, 33 days leave
8pm-4.30pm Mon-Thurs, 8am-3pm Fri
Are you a Electronic Test Engineer, looking to work for a niche company offering superb long term career opportunities in a growth market? You will be trained and mentored to progress into a Product Development role in medium term.
The client is currently growing rapidly and is financially very secure and well backed. Needless to say this is a great time to join them.
This position would suit a Graduate Electronic Engineer who wants to develop their skill set and progress their career.
The Role:
1.Carry out routine product testing duties including test equipment de-bug and optimisation plus assembly and build of test-fixtures
2.Physical analysis of non-conforming or failed parts for root-cause solutions.
3.Medium term widening of the role to work with the New Product Development team
The Person
1.Electronic Engineering degree- 2nd class or higher
2.Experienced in operating test equipment and working in a production test environment.
3.Microsoft applications (especially Excel, VB macros) and also MiniTab.
This position is paying GBP25-30K, and offers overtime, 5% contributory pension, 33 days leave.
The role is working 37.5 hours per week, 8am-4.30, with a 3pm finish on Friday.
