Yard Manager - 3272 Nottingham - NG7 2NN SIG Roofing, part of SIG plc We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated candidate who will work as a Yard Manager and be responsible for the daily management of Health and Safety and Employee welfare within the Yard. In this role you will work closely with transport to plan delivery and dispatch along with managing the yard layouts and stock. As the Yard Manager you will be involved in the rotas, recruitment employee training and appraisals for all Yard colleagues. As a Yard Manager at SIG, you will be expected to adhere to our Zero Harm policy and ensure that members of your wider team act in accordance with these principles.We also have an Alcohol and Substance Misuse Policy which includes random testing for those in safety critical roles which would include the role of Yard Manager and their sub-ordinates. About You? The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate leadership, self-motivation and strong people management skills. In the role of Manager you will be required to keep calm, think logically and ensure processes and procedures are followed within your team. To apply, candidates should be educated to A-Level standard as a minimum, hold a valid UK driving licence, ideally be in possession on a valid FLT Counter Balance Certificate. About us???
