Project Engineer - Process
Bristol
Long-term Contract
Fantastic opportunity for a Process Project Engineer to work on a Nuclear project based near to Bristol.
The Role:
As a Project Engineer you will be based on our clients' site in Bristol and will be responsible for providing engineering solutions to complex projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
*
Identifying project functional requirements and stakeholder needs
*
Contributing to the production of Project Execution Plans including design, safety case and commissioning strategies.
*
Supporting the project optioneering process.
*
Developing concept design and fit for purpose engineering solution for projects.
*
Producing and approving project technical specifications.
*
Managing detailed design activities in accordance with design authority standards.
*
Prepare modification proposals as required, acting as Nominated Responsible Engineer where appointed.
*
Carrying out technical assessments/approval of contractors work instruction/method statements/risk assessments.
*
Providing technical supervision of construction/deconstruction activities to ensure compliance with design intent.
*
Approving as built drawings.
*
Maintaining site configuration control throughout project lifecycle.
*
Complying with all QHSSE policies and supporting the continuous improvement of this on site.
*
Reviewing on-site and off-site events and root cause analysis to promote improved working practices.
The Person:
As Project Engineer you should suit the following:
* Educated to HNC level in an appropriate discipline as a minimum
* Experience of practicing disciplined engineering role on an industrial site.
* Experience of Nuclear engineering.
* Have working knowledge of the Safety Rules and working knowledge of risk assessment methodology.
