We now have a vacancy for a competent and reliable Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst to join a UKAS accredited asbestos consultancy to work on a variety of contracts in the South West, consideration will be given to applications from Somerset, Wiltshire and the surrounding areas.
Minimum requirements for this role:
-Must possess the P402, P403 and P404 asbestos certificates.
-Have the relevant experience in asbestos surveying, air-monitoring and within the asbestos arena.
-Demonstrate good communication skills, both written and verbal.
-Well-versed with the Health & Safety pertaining to asbestos,
-The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-A good work ethic and at the same time be flexible
Main Responsibilities:
-Carry out 4 stage clearances, smoke, background, leak reassurance, visual, re-occupation and personal air testing.
-Carrying out Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on commercial and industrial properties.
-Overseeing contractors on site and ensuring that they comply with the Health and Safety legislation in relation to asbestos.
-Submitting comprehensive reports as and when required.
-Building and maintaining good relationship with clients.
