Based in Newent this engineering company design and manufacture speciliast and bespoke equipment that is supplied into industries and companies UK Wide. 2017 is set to be an exciting time for the company as they look to grow and invest heavily into the manufacturing facility.
This company are now seeking a strong, dedicated and experienced Logistics Manager to join our company and effectively manage staff, Inventory, warehouse & customer deliveries to ensure we maintain and exceed the required service levels of there customers
In this role you will be given full responsibility for the logistics department. You will ensure the timely delivery of all orders to customers and report any expected delays to the sales and operational team. You will also manage and develop the logistics team, including compliance with all policies and procedures such as time keeping, absence and health and safety.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics management.

*Having full responsibility of the logistics team.
*Ensure all loads are set our and received on time.
*Engage and manage the services of the third party carriers and haulage companies.

The person:
*Have experience as a logistics manager.
*Hold the CPC licence.
*Candidates that have the DSA driving assessor category D,D+E,C, C+E will have an advance.
