About the role:
The Test Analyst will be responsible for designing, maintaining and executing test scripts, to ensure that their class-leading web-based and mobile-based applications are delivered according to their users` requirements and quality standards.
As well as being involved in all their day to day testing requirements, they are looking for a key member of the team to improve and expand their testing capabilities to include automated testing and mobile application testing. You will be responsible for test script planning, writing and system testing for web-based ASP.Net (4.5) applications, including defect reporting and tracking.
About you:
- Substantial and proven experience in testing web-based software applications
- Experience in automated testing tools
- Using and configuring an application lifecycle management system e.g. Visual Studio Team Foundation System
- Working in a controlled QA environment, and keeping the QA standards up to date
- Experience of Security / penetration testing would be ideal
- Mobile application testing and release management experience is desirable
- Understanding of Agile methodologies would be useful
- Knowledge of virtual machines, Microsoft Test Manager and Test Labs desirable
