To achieve this we want to find the very best talent, in particular there is an urgent need currently to appoint a Software Developer/ Senior Software Developer.
Our recent decision to create a world-class software team at our Derby office will create solutions for delivery around the world, using the latest software technologies and methods. Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the design, development, unit testing and delivery of server-side software for Picsolve's operational systems, in line with the specified requirements for this software.
Experience:
- 2-5 years experience in software development, including:
- At least 1-2 years experience in Java software development.
- Familiarity with current software development methods (including Agile)
Desirable:
- Familiarity with embedded SQL.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs (ideally for integration with thin-client webpages & apps).
