Field Services Manager - Bristol - up to £275 per day -6 months

Leading Telecoms organisation require a Field Services Manager to join a team based in Bristol.

Reporting into the Head of Field Services, you will be responsible for the project management of network construction projects, building Fibre to the Home (FTTH) and/or Metropolitan Area Networks, and to provide assistance and advice to partners in their roll out when required.

You will also develop, manage and lead technical and programming relationships with planning & construction partners, ensuring timely delivery of projects to budget, quality and technical specifications.

Key responsibilities include:
*Manage all vendors/contractors for construction
*Ensure vendors/contractors' compliance with schedules and technical specifications
*Direct all construction activities, coordinating all the functions involved: contracts, administration, cost & schedule control, QA and Health & Safety
*Responsible for the technical interpretation, organization, execution and coordination of project engineering assignments at the construction level
*Ensure that project budget and schedules are met, taking any corrective actions in case of deviations
*Provide accurate reporting to senior management of progress and budgets
*Review weekly and monthly management reports for Programme Management
*To acquire resources and coordinate the efforts of construction contractors, team members and third-party contractors or consultants, assigning individual responsibilities
*To create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
*To manage internal and external resources effectively
*To manage business risks and day-to-day operational aspects of a project and be able to manage several work-streams at any one time

To be considered for this role, you will be a strong Field Services Manager with exposure to either utilities or telecoms civil engineering projects.

You must also hold a valid NRSWA Supervisor qualification

You will have the following skills and experience:
*Minimum 7 years' experience in similar role
*Project Management experience gained within utilities/telecoms civil engineering projects
*Ability to demonstrate experience and working knowledge of CDM Regulations
*Sound experience in proposal writing, project scoping and assessments
*Understands basic revenue models, P&L, and cost-to-completion projections
*Experience of account and client management
*Strategically and commercially aware with credibility at a senior level
*Demonstrable experience of method statements and risk assessments
*Proven ability to identify and action "add on" sale opportunities
*Experience of recognised project management methodology
*Relevant experience in the management of utilities construction projects valued at £5M and over
*NRSWA Supervisor qualification

Desirable
*Prince II Practitioner
*Civil Engineering Qualification
*Recent Telecoms network construction experience
*Knowledge of fibre optic network deployment
*Knowledge of the management of NEC3 Construction contracts
