Senior Legal Officer
Eden Brown Synergy have an excellent opportunity for you to provide your excellent Legal experience. Under the direction of the Principal Legal Officer, Commercial & Property to provide and manage legal support for the clients Regeneration, Development and Improvement and modernisation agendas. To promote the Council's partnership arrangements with external organisations. To provide legal support and advice across the Council on commercial matters generally and other related issues.
Key Responsibilities include providing high level legal advice and support in one or more of the following legal specialisms:
-Contracts & Commercial matters
-Procurement (including European & Domestic Procurement advice)
-IT Contracts
-Regeneration & Major projects
-Local Government Law
-Partnerships
-State Aid
-Funding
To be successful, you must be a qualified and admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court or Barrister (entitled to a Practising Certificate) or Chartered Legal Executive. Have experience advising upon Contract and Commercial matters, Interest in Local Government Law and a track record of working successfully with partners, both internally and externally, to achieve common goals.
