This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the major providers of education and training in Yorkshire and Humberside. About the Role

The role is fixed-term for up to 15 months to cover a period of maternity leave.

Our client is an Outstanding College (graded Outstanding by Ofsted in December 2013) and are looking for a dynamic and inspirational leader and manager for this important Grade 1 division.

You should have experience of managing teaching staff, curriculum design and validation, and have a successful track record of improving and maintaining high quality provision. Effective organisational skills, the ability to motivate others, knowledge of funding and of the key issues facing further and higher education are essential, as is the ability to lead by example as an excellent teacher in a relevant subject area.

Reporting to the Assistant Principal for 14-19 Vocational, you will be responsible for resource management and team leadership, setting and monitoring performance targets, promoting excellence in teaching and learning, and leading the development of course/programme design.
