Senior Network Engineer/Architect - up to £65k + package - Warrington

Leading Telecoms client requires a Senior Network Engineer with some hands-on Architecture exposure to join a growing dynamic team based in London.

Both a challenging a rewarding role, you will be responsible for the development and delivery of the active service portfolio, encompassing skills that include system & network administration, as well as strong project management.

Key responsibilities include:
*Establishing a networking environment by designing system configuration, directing system installation, defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.
*Maximizing network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades and collaborating with network architects on network optimisation.
*Managing the underlying resources of the active network, e.g. IP addressing, backhaul capacity, access network scaling.
*Support the Operations group undertaking data network fault investigations in MAN & WAN environments.
*Remotely support of on-site engineers and end users/customers during installation. *Remotely troubleshooting and fault finding if issues occur upon initial installation.

To be considered for this role you will be a strong Network Engineer with some Architecture exposure, who has worked with a broad range of vendors (essential) with some large enterprise experience.

Ideally you will also have worked within a Telecoms environment.

You will also have the following skills and experience:
*Ability to design and build new active networks.
*Improve network monitoring and operational excellence.
*Network implementation experience in 3rd party colocation facilities.
*Act as Point of escalation for network issues from Tier2 Noc.
*Multi-layer problem solving in a dynamic environment.
*LAN/MAN IP and Layer 2 network design (Desirable).
MAN DWDM network design and implementation (Desirable).
