Summary

We are looking for an experienced Office Manager (HR Support) to work with our Group HR Director and the wider HR team at Trinity Mirror's head office in Canary Wharf. This role will be working in a fast-paced environment where you will need to demonstrate versatility and have a proactive approach to dealing with a variety of HR and business related issues.

Much of the information you will have access to is highly confidential, so tact and discretion is paramount in this role.

Main Responsibilities

  • diary support for Group HR Director and HR management team
  • meeting and greeting visitors at all levels of seniority
  • arranging travel and accommodation for the Group HR Director and HR management team
  • arranging, coordinating and supporting all internal and external meetings for the Group HR Director
  • attending meetings, minute taking and action taking during meetings
  • producing documents, briefing papers, board reports and presentations
  • drafting HR related documents and correspondence
  • managing the Group HR Director's inbox and answering emails and various HR related enquiries on their behalf
  • ability to prioritise HR related activity and work to strict deadlines
  • support the HR team on any projects
  • proofreading and basic checking of HR documents
  • providing general HR administrative support such as managing office supplies and equipment, answering phones, mailing, filing and photocopying of confidential information
  • overseeing internal communications across the wider HR team


Ideal Candidate

  • given the nature of the role it's critical you have experience of working within a corporate HR environment
  • you'll need a 'can do' attitude with a professional but friendly demeanour
  • excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise and organise a heavy workload
  • ability to establish and develop professional working relationships with our senior managers and their support teams
  • proficient in the use of MS Office applications, Google and Gmail
  • manages time-sensitive and confidential information while exercising tact, diplomacy and discretion in written and verbal communications
