LOCATION: Banbury, Oxfordshire


JOB TITLE: Training Coordinator


SALARY & BENEFITS: Circa GBP30,000 depending on skills and experience


WORKING HOURS: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Training Co-ordinator to join their busy and dynamic team based in Banbury.


THE ROLE: This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a successful and passionate team. You will be responsible for co-ordinating and managing all of the training and learning activities in the UK.


Key responsibilities for the Training Co-ordinator role is to include:-
  • ?? Support the preparation of a training needs analysis and training matrices by department to identify the training gaps for development activity.
  • ?? To facilitate and support the development of the engineering and technical skills within the operations team to strengthen the core competencies.
  • ?? To support the identification of the fundamental skills and mandatory training.
  • ?? Review of current job specific training plans and a gap analysis against current processes.
  • ?? Support and co-ordinate the development of SOPs for each process.
  • ?? Determine the most effective method of training delivery and organise training activities against a training plan and management of the Apprenticeship programme
  • ?? Determine an effective method to assess and evaluate training outcomes to ensure appropriate return on investment of the training interventions.
  • ?? Source, facilitate, provide and arrange all aspects of approved training interventions within the annual training budget and process related purchase orders in line with purchasing policy.



THE CANDIDATE: The successful applicant for the Training Co-ordinator role will be confident, self-motivated as well as a team player and have excellent attention to detail. You must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and will have strong administration skills. You will need to live within a commutable distance to Banbury or be willing to re-locate.



Key skills and experience for the Training Co-ordinator role:-


  • Educated to degree level or HR related discipline would be desirable or qualified by experience (3 years minimum)
  • Must have experience of a food manufacturing environment and GMP principles would be advantageous
  • Train the Trainer Qualification would be desirable
  • Knowledge of Apprenticeship frameworks is also advantageous
