Joining their Aerostructures Forge function, the UST Operator will be responsible for ensuring all customer needs and internal quality processes are met.

Utilising the UST techniques, you will support the inspection of forged components ensuring that they comply with customer specifications in relation to the identification of internal defects. Working to daily targets and schedule, you will maintain and observe all Health and Safety requirements and comply with company policies and procedures.

The successful UST Operator will have excellent attention to detail and be able to interpret and work to engineering specifications and drawings. With experience of working in a similar environment and the ability to meet tight deadlines, you will have good interpersonal skills to foster teamwork and have excellent numeracy and literacy skills for routine activities and examinations.

Capable of achieving business objectives, you will be pro-active in improvement activity and interact in a competent manner with auditors when required. They also ask that you get involved in team activity and are flexible to work different shift patterns.

Those who hold a current BINDT Accredited Agency Certificate: - EN 4179/NAS 410 Ultrasonic NDT Level I – Wrought products for one or more Aerospace prime specifications – AIRBUS are highly desirable however this is not essential. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Level 1 UST Operator to join our client and develop into Level 2.
