Diesel Generator Engineer / Mechanical Engineer, Salary: Up to £34,528, Based: near Slough
We require a Diesel Generator Engineer / Mechanical Engineer to work for a leading business that specialise in the hire of portable accommodation and associated products. This role will involve completing general safety checks / servicing and maintenance of the generators as well as fault finding, refurbishment and repair of the generator fleet ensuring their continued availability for hire.
The ideal candidate will have generator / gas or diesel engine experience and have worked as a Generator Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / Mechanical Fitter / Plant Fitter / Motor Mechanic or similar previously. Applicants will ideally have the relevant qualifications and some electrical engineering knowledge / experience.
The Evolution units are 12v and 240v generators and are a mixture of Honda, Kubota, Harrison and Stephill. Duties include servicing, refurbishing, repairing and maintaining the power fleet and related tasks.
