They currently own and manage over 6000 properties, support over 1600 vulnerable customers in care and supported housing projects and employ nearly 500 people.

They are looking for an experienced Programme Manager to lead their Development and Asset Management team and manage the development of 1200 new homes over the next 5 years. The role is perfect for someone who is looking to put their experience and skills to the test, develop a lively and dynamic team and ensure systems and processes are in place and working effectively.
Our client is seeking a highly organised Programme Manager to take control of the operational delivery of the Development Plan and manage development projects effectively through the business. The key areas are:
- developing the existing staff team to meet the challenges of a changing external environment as we move from delivering affordable housing to a more commercial, mixed tenure development model; and
- establishing and monitoring data, systems and processes that will ensure the successful delivery of a viable development and asset management programme.
You will be an excellent line manager, ready to grow the skills of an existing and capable team to suit the new environment and able to provide the feedback and support to help your team members do the best work of their lives. You will be a role model, embracing innovation and new approaches and empowering your team to deliver a broad range of projects including developing new homes of all tenures and acquiring and disposing of properties.
You will be genuinely curious about data and how it can help us improve. You will be keen to establish systems that will help them analyse their schemes and processes and drive value for money. You will be rigorous in ensuring systems and processes are consistent, effective and will stand up to scrutiny on audit.
A positive and confident communicator, you will have excellent project management skills and will enjoy seeing a project through from start to finish. You are someone who thrives under pressure and is able to spot opportunities and negotiate successfully with stakeholders and funders to realise those opportunities.
