Randstad Education are currently looking to recruit general cover teachers to work across Kings Lynn and the surrounding area's for various roles after the Easter Holiday

Dynamic and enthusiastic teachers looking to make a difference,

Your role is to:

- Teach classes of 11-16 year old's in the absence of their usual class teacher.

- Manage behaviour in line with school policy.

- Deliver lessons from a range of core subjects across the national curriculum

- Leave completed work and observation notes for the class teacher.

You must:

- Have experience and a genuine passion for working within the secondary school sector

- Be able to communicate effectively with students and staff.

- Be organized, calm in a crisis and able to think on your feet.

- Be flexible, punctual, professional and approachable.

You will have a minimum of 3 months of experience of working within a classroom environment

We welcome applications from people with the following experience -

* Teaching assistant/learning mentor/cover supervisor in primary, secondary and special needs schools
* Coordinating workshops (such as drama, art, outdoor workshops etc)
* Sports coaching
* Working with children as part of church/community/mosque groups
* Working in after school clubs/ breakfast clubs/ holiday club

Qualifications
* PGCE and/or have QTS

We are happy for people to apply that have a qualification at degree level or higher but you will need to have at least 6 months teaching experience to qualify as a Instructor
