FMG have an exciting opportunity for a ULR Claims Handlerto join our team based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.

Job title: ULR Claims handler

Location: Huddersfield, West Yorkshire (HD1)

Salary: GBP15,851-GBP18,357 per annum, dependent upon experience + fantastic benefits

Job Type: Full Time Permanent; Monday to Friday 8.30-5.00pm

FMG is the UK's leading independent provider of fleet incident management and specialist vehicle recovery services.

The ULR team provide an additional service to our customers who have been involved in non-fault accidents. We are responsible for recovering any losses on behalf of the customer and will pursue the responsible third party/ insurers for costs that have been incurred. The team effectively handle claims ensuring that speed and quality is maximised and FMGs proactive approach to claims handling is adopted as all times.

Due to continued growth, the company is now seeking to expand their Uninsured Loss recovery team with ambitious individuals who have a passion, desire and a great attitude, to settle uninsured loss claims as effectively and efficiently as possible. The role will involve investigating Liability, gathering information through different sources, utilising intelligence tools and settling claims in the best interest of our clients.

When you join, you'll enjoy a structured training programme and during your first 12 months, they will continue to develop you in your role through on-going coaching and support. Your development doesn't stop here however as you will go on to learn and build further skills and as you progress your salary will too.

Our ULR team commission scheme also gives you the opportunity to increase your earning potential of up to 10% of your annual salary.

ULR Claims handler - The ideal candidate will:

- Be highly conscientious and self-motivated

- Have an eye for detail and proven problem solving skills.

- Possess excellent written and verbal skills and an ability to build rapport with customers.

- Demonstrate effective negotiation skills.

- Be a strong team player and strive to ensure the achievement of personal goals as well as providing support to colleagues to achieve team targets.

- Be computer literate and have a confident, comfortable telephone manner, as this role involves a significant amount of telephone and PC work.

- Experience of handling motor claims would be advantageous but not necessary.
