Accountant

Brook Street is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our city centre client to recruit an accountant / financial controller to join their growing company.

The ideal candidate will be a chartered accountant with an ACCA qualification or part-qualified with significant financial controller experience , Applicants should be dynamic,and a detail orientated and ambitious individual.

Duties

Responsible for preparing monthly accounts
Preparing consolidated accounts
Month end journals
Preparing VAT and Intrastat reports
Working to tight deadlines
Essential Criteria

Qualified accountant or measurable experience as a financial controller
Excellent communication skills
Strong organisational skills
Motivated to complete tasks to a high standard and to strict deadlines
Fully competent in all Microsoft packages
Career motivated and keen for progression

Please note - This is not an accountancy practice role

Salary for this position will be between GBP30,000 to GBP35,000 per annum
