Our Client are a leading employment support and training services company, helping people to transform their lives and businesses through work, training, education and financial advice. They work in partnership with governments, public sector organisations, private sector companies, voluntary and community groups to deliver a range of front line public services

They now have an exciting opportunity for a permanent full time Training and Engagement Officer to join them. Whilst you will be based at their Head Office in Garretts Green, this is a role where you will be expected to travel a couple of days a week to other offices within the region of Black Country and West Midlands. 

As a Training and Engagement Officer you will be focused on Employer Engagement and learner recruitment for our Classroom based and traineeship courses. Working with the Training Coordinator and Branch Manager to promote these programmes to local employers, partners and learners, you will also manage courses and delivery in the absence of the Training Coordinator.

They are looking for someone who has a good working knowledge of the unemployed provision and employer / learner engagement experience. With experience of working with a diverse group of learners, showing empathy whilst helping them to overcome complex and multiple barriers, you will be organised and able to prioritise. Traineeship programme delivery knowledge would also be advantageous.  

With a recognised qualification in IAG or substantial experience of working in a similar role, you will have the ability to motivate learners and help raise their self-esteem. A team player with excellent communication skills, you will have previous experience of achieving or exceeding targets and will be able to travel within the region to meet the demands of the business.
